WANTED: CASH PAID FOR RAILROAD POLICE BADGES!

Welcome to my new website! Please use the “hamburger” hash lines on the top right to navigate through the site.

I have been actively collecting and trading railroad police badges for over 48 years. I bought my first railroad police badge back in 1972 at the Depot Attic Antique Shop in Ardsley, NY for $12. It was a Delaware & Hudson Railway Police Patrolman's badge, and it became the start of what has become a fascinating hobby and has led to a collection of over 4,500 badges. This collection is held in 40 specially-made wood and glass cases and has been on display throughout the country. It was even featured on the History Channel!

Besides collecting, I am also a commissioned Railroad Police Special Agent and have spent 45 years in law enforcement, serving as a municipal Police Chief, County Police Director of Public Safety, and Chief of Police Training for a New Jersey Police Academy. I currently serve as the Chief of Police and designated TSA Federal Railroad Security Coordinator for a New Jersey-based railroad company. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling throughout the country, attending shows, and meeting other railroad cops and badge collectors.

After being asked by numerous collectors, I decided to embark on a book-writing venture, and I have written and published six books on railroad police badges. These books make an excellent reference source and price guide for collectors. They are available for purchase on this website - click here!

I will be updating this site regularly, so I look forward to hearing from you. If you have an old badge that you need some information on, please send me a photo or scan and I will try and help you identify it. If you happen to have an old badge that you are looking to sell or dispose of, please contact me. I'm always looking to add badges to the collection in an effort to preserve their history.

Thanks for stopping by!
